Who the heck are you?
I’m Luke! A random, passionate, crazy-eyed punk Bible-School graduate. I’m on this crazy journey called “Life”, and so far am having a blast! Something wild happens when you throw your hands in the air and say “Okay God, take over!” – exactly what I am learning to do. I love young people and students, and am committing my life to shaping this young generation of believers in a radical way. Not many know me or even know of me, but I have purposed in my heart to make a dent in history.
What is this blog for?
Well, this is the personal blog of Luke Gajary. It’s my first ever “true” blog, and I’m pretty excited about it – be patient with me on this adventure, will ya? I had a tripod.com website to start (when I was 14), then a Xanga, then a Myspace, then a Facebook – all were used to blog somewhat, but not extensively and eventually the writing stopped. I love to write, and want to become more proficient in a “safe practice feild” type envirionment. To answer the question in a simple way, this blog is more for me than anyone else – a venting place, a thought cesspool, a brainfart – this blog is my little “artistic expression” page.
There’s another reason too – God is up to some crazy stuff in my life and in the lives around me, and I need some place to document it all for the world see. Psalm 105:1 says this: “Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done.” Sure, in the grand scheme of things, some of the stuff that appears on this page may seem insignificant, but I have no intention of ignoring the goodness of the Lord, as small as it may seem. Basic stewardship: treat well what you’re given, and soon you’ll be given more. Duh. I want to get excited about what God is doing in these days, thereby paving the road for an increase of the working of the Lord in my life.
So, as random as I get sometimes, and and weird or pointless as some posts may seem at times, may it continue to serve two main purposes overall : to give honor to the Lord for his works, and stir a desire for obedience to His calling in His Church.
